Hi, my name is Anna Garst, and I am a senior at Wakefield School in The Plains, Virginia. I have attended the school for six years now and have loved my experience. During my time at Wakefield I played tennis, squash, and soccer, as well as participating in a school musical production and multiple clubs. I am so thankful for all of my wonderful teachers and classmates who have helped me grow and develop my passions and interests, and helping guide me toward and successful future. Next year, I will be attending Gettysburg College, where I hope to major in either business or psychology with a minor in neuroscience. I am so excited to further my knowledge of psychology that was sparked by this thesis project. In the previous years, I knew I always found the field interesting, but it wasn't until this year I have been considienrg it as a career more seriously. The combination of taking a neuropsychology class and choosing this particular topic examining the brain has been the primary reason for my excitement to learn more about how the brain works has grown.
